Duais is out of Meerlust (Johannesburg), also the dam of Baccarat Baby (Casino Prince), a group winner in Australia who took the Gr.3 Sunshine Coast Guineas, and of Amiche (Nicconi), a winner in Brisbane.

Fourth dam is the Canadian champion Fanfreluche (Northern Dancer), who won 11 races and was Canadian Broodmare of the Year in 1978. She is the dam of the Canadian champion and Grade 1 winner L'Enjoleur (Buckpasser) and of the Grade 2 winners D'Accord (Secretariat) and La Voyageuse (Tentam), the latter dam of Time Bandit (Time For A Change), a Grade 3 winner in the US. Fanfreluche is also the grandam of Bint Allayl (Green Desert), champion 2-year-old filly in Britain in 1998, and the ancestress of a further 18 Group 1 winners, among them the champion sires Encosta De Lago (Fairy King) and Flying Spur (Danehill), as well as Russian Revolution (Snitzel), Home Affairs (I Am Invincible), Pear Tart (Dehere), I Am A Star (I Am Invincible) and Sherwood Forest (Fastnet Rock).

Meerlust has a 2021 filly by All Too Hard and was covered by Bivouac last spring.
