Wonder Wheel is the second foal of Wonder Gal (Tiz Wonderful), a triple stakes winner who was also placed in four Grade 1 races, including a close third in the 2014 Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies. Wonder Wheel is her latest reported foal, and her half-sibling Road Bible (Pioneerof The Nile) won three races.

Second dam Passe (Dixie Union) never raced and produced two winners from five foals, Wonder Gal the best of them. She is a half-sister to Social Queen (Dynaformer), a dual Grade 3 winner and dam of Force the Pass, winner of the Grade 1 Belmont Derby, to four other multiple winners and to the dam of the Grade 2-placed Nakamura.

Third dam Gal On the Go (Irgun) won four races including a stakes race and was Grade 3-placed.

Further back, this is the female family of the Grade 1 winners Force the Pass and Perfect Drift.

Wonder Gal was barren to Constitution in 2022.
