Early Voting is one of three winners from as many runners out of the unraced Amour d'Ete (Tiznow), a full-sister to Irap (Tiznow), a triple graded winner who took the Grade 2 Blue Grass S. in 2017 and was multiple Grade 1-placed, and a half-sister to the champion and leading sire Speightstown (Gone West), winner of the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Sprint.

Second dam Silken Cat (Storm Cat) was a champion and stakes winner in Canada and has three winners, Speightstown and Irap among them. She also produced Cableknit (Unbridled's Song), dam of Capezzano, a Group 1 winner in the UAE, and the unraced Gone Purrfect (Gone West), dam of Golden Hawk, a Grade 3 winner at two in Canada.

Third dam Silken Doll (Chieftain), a stakes winner, had six further winners from six runners. They include Juyush (Silver Hawk), placed in the Gr.1 Racing Post Trophy and later a Listed winner over hurdles, the stakes-placed Raven Red (Valid Appeal), who won nine races, Meadow Silk (Meadowlake), a 13-time winner and dam of the Grade 2 winner Star Dabbler, also Grade 1-placed, and of the stakes winner Run Production, and Chief Appeal (Valid Appeal), a three-time winner and dam of the stakes winner Turkappeal, placed at Grade 2 level.

This family traces to Hildene (Bubbling Over), Broodmare of the Year in 1950 and the fifth dam of Silken Cat.

Amour d'Ete has a 2-year-old full-sister to Early Voting and a yearling filly by Constitution, and was bred back to Volatile.
