Tapit Trice is the second foal and first winner out of Danzatrice (Dunkirk), who won seven races, three of them stakes races, and was third in the Grade 3 Groupie Doll S.

Second dam Lady Pewitt (Orientate) ran once and had nine foals. Her four winners besides Danzatrice include Jaywalk (Cross Traffic), winner of the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and the Grade 1 Frizette Stakes in 2018.

Third dam Spin Room (Spinning World) was unraced and produced six minor winners from nine foals. She is a half-sister to two Grade 2 winners who became sires, Mission Impazible (Unbridled's Song) and Forest Camp (Deputy Minister).

Danzatrice has a 2-year-old full-sister to Tapit Trice.
