Wooded is out of Frida La Blonde (Elusive City) and is her second foal. Her first foal is the full sibling Beat Le Bon (Wootton Bassett), Group-placed in England and runner-up in the Gr.3 Sovereign Stakes.

Second dam Firm Friend (Affirmed) won the Listed Criterium d'Evry and was second in the Gr.2 Premio Regina Elena (Italian 1000 Guineas). She is the dam of Fred Lalloupet (Elusive City), winner of the Listed Prix Servanne and the Listed Prix Cor de Chasse and runner-up in the Gr.3 Prix de Ris-Orangis, and of Mon Pote le Gitan (Thunder Gulch), who also won the Listed Prix Servanne and was placed in the Gr.3 Prix de Cabourg.
