Helvic Dream is the first foal of the unraced Rachevie (Danehill Dancer). Her only other foal so far is Flirting Bridge (Camelot), second in the Gr.3 Irish 1000 Guineas Trial.

Second dam Challow Hills (Woodman) is related to the multiple stakes winner Teide (Mt. Livermore).

This is the family of Diminuendo (Diesis), winner of the Gr.1 Epsom Oaks, the Gr.1 Irish Oaks and the Gr.1 Yorkshire Oaks, and of her full sister Pricket, who won the Listed Pretty Polly Stakes and was second in the Gr.1 Epsom Oaks. Diminuendo produced Calando (Storm Cat), winner of the May Hill Stakes, then a Group 3, and second in the Gr.1 Fillies' Mile, and Calando is the dam of the Listed winners Champlain (Seeking the Gold), in the Chesham Stakes, and Calare (Dubawi), in the Silken Glider Stakes.
