Epic Similie is the dam of the winner Figure Of Speech (Invincible Spirit), second in the Gr.2 July S., and the second dam of Behind Enemy Lines (Sioux Nation), winner of the Cutler Bay S.

Third dam Proskona (Mr. Prospector) was a champion in Italy and a Group winner in Italy and France, and produced seven winners from 14 foals, among them Calista (Caerleon), winner of the Grade 2 Canadian H. Her descendants also include Act One (In The Wings), winner of the Gr.1 Prix Lupin and the Gr.1 Criterium International.

Proskona is related to Korveya, the dam of Bosra Sham and Hector Protector (both by Woodman) and of Shanghai (Procida), another winner of the Gr.1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains.

Modern Ideals has a 2-year-old filly by Mastercraftsman and a yearling colt by Ribchester, and was covered by Dubawi again in 2022.
