Belbek is the only winner out of Bee Queen (Makfi), a maiden who ran twice and comes from a family with middle-distance connections. She is a half-sister to Sangarius (Kingman), winner of the Gr.3 Hampton Court Stakes.

Second dam Trojan Queen (Empire Maker) also produced Emergent (Oasis Dream), third in the Gr.3 1000 Guineas Trial.

Third dam Banks Hill (Danehill) won three Group 1 races: the Gr.1 Prix Jacques le Marois, the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf and the Gr.1 Coronation Stakes. She is a full sister to the multiple Group 1 winners Intercontinental, Champs Elysees and Cacique, the latter two both sires, and to Dansili, a Group 2 winner, Group 1-placed and a sire. Banks Hill is the dam of Romantica (Galileo), winner of the Gr.1 Prix Jean Romanet and dam of the Listed-placed Brunnera, and of the sire Ideal World (Kingmambo), winner of the Listed Prix de Reux and placed at Group 2 level.

This is the family of the fourth dam Hasili (Kahyasi), an outstanding broodmare whose top-class offspring include Heat Haze (Green Desert), winner of the Grade 1 Beverly D. S. The family also includes Mirage Dancer (Frankel), winner of the Gr.1 Metropolitan, and Forge (Dubawi), twice second in the Grade 2 Bernard Baruch H. and third in the Grade 1 Maker's 46 Mile S.

Bee Queen has a yearling colt by Gleneagles.
