Champagne Color is out of the unraced Memorial Life (Reckless Abandon), who is also the dam of the year-older Three Excellent (Victoire Pisa), a winner over 1400m on dirt.

Second dam Baldovina (Tale Of The Cat) was placed and bred five winners. Among them is Ceiling Kitty (Red Clubs), a half-sister to Memorial Life and winner of the Gr.2 Queen Mary S. Ceiling Kitty produced two Group-placed Listed winners, Arthur Kitt (Camelot), winner of the Listed Chesham S., and Eartha Kitt (Pivotal), herself the dam of Noble Style (Kingman), winner of the Gr.2 Gimcrack S.

Third dam Baldwina (Pistolet Bleu) was a Group 3 winner. After producing Baldovina she moved to Japan, where she had five winners, headed by Jeweler (Victoire Pisa), winner of the Gr.1 Oka Sho, and One Carat (Falbrav), a triple Group 3 winner.

Memorial Life has a two-year-old colt by Kizuna and a yearling filly by Isla Bonita, and she visited Real Steel last year.
