Jannah Rose is the fifth foal of Sophie Germain (Indian Ridge), who did not race and is also the dam of Creggs Pipes (Rip Van Winkle), a Group winner in Ireland who took the Gr.2 Ridgewood Pearl Stakes, and Silver Spear (Clodovil), stakes-placed in Ireland.

Second dam Nydrion (Critique) won the Oaks d'Italia in 1989, when it was a Group 1. She has five winners, and one of her daughters produced Moltke, a stakes winner over hurdles.

Third dam Nabila (Foolish Pleasure) won in the US and has four winners, the best of them Nydrion.

Further back this is the family of the Grade 1 winners in the US Square Eddie, later a sire, and Pompeii.

Sophie Germain's two-year-old is a filly by Invincible Spirit; the mare visited Oasis Dream in 2022.
