Courage Mon Ami is out of Crimson Ribbon (Lemon Drop Kid), a winner at three over a mile and a half. Her other foals include Crimson Rosette (Teofilo), winner of the Listed Chalice S. and twice placed at Group 3 level, including second in the Gr.3 Pinnacle S., Astronomos (New Approach), a Listed winner and Group 3-placed in Australia, and the listed-placed Purple Ribbon (Gleneagles).

Second dam Victoria Cross (Mark Of Esteem) was a listed-placed winner in France and bred eight winners. She is the dam of Bronze Cannon, winner of the Gr.2 Hardwicke S. and Gr.2 Jockey Club S., of the Grade 3 My Charmer H. winner Valiant Girl, both full siblings to Crimson Ribbon, and of Across The Stars (Sea The Stars), who took the Gr.2 King Edward VII S. in 2016.

Third dam Glowing With Pride (Ile De Bourbon) was second in the Gr.2 Park Hill S. and bred seven winners. She has three further stakes performers, led by Prize Giving (Most Welcome), winner of the Grade 2 San Marco H. and placed in the Grade 1 Hollywood Turf Cup, and including his full brother Much Commended, a winner at two who was twice placed at Group 2 level. Another daughter is the dam of Alpride (Alzao), a dual Grade 1 winner in the US.
