Lazzat is the first foal and so far the only runner out of Lastochka (Australia), who won as a two-year-old.

The second dam is Lashyn (Mr. Greeley), a maiden winner over 1m2f on the all-weather at Lingfield, who has produced four winners, among them Lastochka.

The third dam Sleepytime (Royal Academy) won the Gr.1 1,000 Guineas in 1997. She produced eight winners from 11 runners, four of them black-type winners, among them the sires Gentleman's Deal (Danehill), winner of the Gr.3 Winter Derby, and Hathal (Speightstown), whose best success came in the Gr.3 Superior Mile.

Sleepytime is a full sister to Ali-Royal, winner of the Gr.1 Sussex Stakes and a sire, and a half-sister to Taipan (Last Tycoon), a four-time Group 1 winner in Germany and Italy and a sire, and to Oonagh Maccool (Giant's Causeway), a Grade 2 winner in the US. The family also includes Croco Rouge (Rainbow Quest), winner of the Gr.1 Prix d'Ispahan and later a sire.

Lastochka has an unraced 2-year-old filly by Golden Horde named Lamiya and a yearling colt by Lope De Vega.
