Look De Vega is out of Lucelle (High Chaparral), a triple winner, and is her fourth winner and her first at black-type level. Lucelle is a half-sister to The Black Princess (Iffraaj), winner of the Gr.2 Lancashire Oaks and the Gr.3 Prix Allez France.

Second dam Larceny (Cape Cross) is a half-sister to the sire Lawman (Invincible Spirit), who won the Gr.1 Prix du Jockey Club and the Gr.1 Prix Jean Prat in 2007.

Third dam Laramie (Gulch) is the dam of Lawman, of Latice (Inchinor), winner of the Gr.1 Prix de Diane, and of the sire Satri (Mujadil), winner of the Gr.3 Prix du Palais-Royal and second in the Gr.1 Prix Maurice de Gheest. Latice produced Fencing, a Listed winner placed at Group 1 level, and Mirsky, a four-time winner who was twice Listed-placed.

Laramie comes from the close family of Light The Lights (Shirley Heights), a Group 2 winner placed in the Gr.1 Prix Vermeille.

Lucelle has a 2-year-old colt by Almanzor, as yet unnamed.
