Zandon is the first named foal of the unraced Memories Prevail (Creative Cause), a half-sister to the stakes winner Cariba (Cairo Prince) and to her full sister Cairo Memories, winner of the Grade 3 Providencia S. and Grade 1-placed.

Second dam Incarnate Memories (Indian Charlie) ran only a few times and her first seven foals include four winners. She is a half-sister to Hello Liberty (Forest Camp), a Grade 2 winner and second in the Grade 1 Acorn S., who is the second dam of Sutton's Smile (Paddy O'Prado), third in the Grade 1 Starlet S., and to the stakes winner Pious Ashley (Include), second in the Grade 3 Endine S.

Third dam Witness Post (Gone West) never raced. Her grandchildren include the graded stakes-winning half-siblings Significant Form (Creative Cause), a multiple graded winner, and Hay Dakota (Haynesfield).

Memories Prevail has a 2-year-old colt, Sol Principe Gris (Summer Front), and a yearling filly by American Freedom, and she was covered by Cairo Prince in 2021.
