Second dam Hveger (Danehill) was second in the Gr.2 South Australian Oaks. Besides Highland Reel she produced three more full siblings to the dam: Cape of Good Hope, winner of the Gr.1 Caulfield Stakes, Idaho, who won the Gr.2 Great Voltigeur Stakes and the Gr.2 Hardwicke Stakes and was placed in several Group 1 races, and Nobel Prize, winner of the Gr.3 Ballysax Stakes.
