Above The Curve is out of the unraced Fabulous (Galileo). Fabulous had already produced Thinking of You, a full sibling to Above The Curve who finished third in the Gr.3 Irish 1000 Guineas Trial and the Gr.3 Weld Park Stakes.

The second dam is the celebrated Mariah's Storm (Rahy), a dual Grade 2 winner in the US who was also third in the Grade 2 Spinster Stakes. That makes Fabulous a half-sister to Giant's Causeway (Storm Cat), Horse of the Year, a six-time Group 1 winner and a sire, and to You'resothrilling (Storm Cat), winner of the Gr.2 Cherry Hinton Stakes. Mariah's Storm also bred the stakes-placed Freud, Tumblebrutus, Tiger Dance and Roar Of The Tiger (all Storm Cat), Hanky Panky (Galileo) and Butterflies (Galileo), whose daughter Yet was Group 2-placed.

The third dam is Immense (Roberto), winner of the Gr.3 Little Silver Handicap and the dam of two stakes winners, Panoramic (Rainbow Quest) and Air Zion (Groom Dancer).

Through You'resothrilling the family is linked to Gleneagles, a dual Gr.1 2,000 Guineas winner and now a sire, Happily, winner of the Gr.1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère and the Gr.1 Moyglare Stud Stakes, Joan of Arc, winner of the Gr.1 Prix de Diane, and Marvellous, winner of the Gr.1 Irish 1,000 Guineas, all by Galileo. You'resothrilling is also the dam of the Group winners Taj Mahal and Coolmore and of Vatican City, runner-up in the Gr.1 Irish 2,000 Guineas. The placed Pearling (Storm Cat), another daughter of Mariah's Storm, is the dam of Decorated Knight (Galileo), a multiple Group 1 winner including the Gr.1 Irish Champion Stakes and now a sire, while the unraced Loves Me Only (Sadler's Wells) produced Storm The Stars, winner of the Gr.2 Great Voltigeur Stakes, placed in the Gr.1 Derby and the Gr.1 Irish Derby and now a sire in France.

Fabulous has visited Justify in each of the last three seasons, producing a two-year-old filly and a yearling filly, followed by a colt foal.
