Secret Oath is out of Absinthe Minded (Quiet American), a multiple stakes winner and multiple Grade 1-placed. She won the Bayakoa S. twice and the Pippin S., was twice placed in the Grade 1 Apple Blossom H., ran second in the Grade 2 Shuvee H. in 2011 and third in the Grade 2 Molly Pitcher S., winning six of her 35 starts in all. Secret Oath is her fourth foal and a half-sister to two other winners by Tiznow: La Fee Verte, who won three races, and Sara Sea, who won twice.

Second dam Rockford Peach (Great Above) won one race at the age of seven. She had 11 foals for her breeders, and Absinthe Minded, her fourth, is the best of her nine winners.

Third dam Strawberry Skyline (Hatchet Man) was unraced. Her four winners are headed by El Ordenador (Slew The Knight), a champion in Puerto Rico.

Absinthe Minded has a 2-year-old filly by Medaglia d'Oro. She was barren to Arrogate for 2021 and has since been covered by Liam's Map.
