Bolshoi Ballet is one of five winners, all by Galileo, out of the unraced Alta Anna (Anabaa). They include Southern France, a Group 2 winner in Australia and a Group 3 winner in Ireland, and the winners Martin Chuzzlewit, What Say You and Palm Beach. Alta Anna is a half-sister to Abbatiale (Kaldoun), a Group 3 winner in France and second in the Gr.1 Prix de Diane. Abbatiale is the dam of Bewitched (Dansili), who won four Group 3 races.

Second dam Anna Edes (Fabulous Dancer) was placed and produced three winners: Abbatiale, Aubergade (Kaldoun), a Listed winner placed at Group 2 level, and Armen (Kaldoun), placed at Group 2 level over hurdles.

Third dam Abbey (Jim French) was a winner and produced eight winners, among them the Listed winners Abrege (Shirley Heights) and Flash Ball (Cricket Ball). She is a half-sister to Ashmore and Art Bleu, both Group winners and sires, and the grandam of Rosina Lad, a Group 2 winner in Australia who was twice placed at Group 1 level.

Bewitched is the dam of three Group 3 winners: Roberto Escobarr, Pablo Escobarr and Aviateur. What Say You (Galileo) is the dam of Editor At Large (Lope de Vega), third in the Grade 2 Miss Grillo Stakes in 2020.

Alta Anna also has the 3-year-old filly Gulf Pearl (No Nay Never), still a maiden, and a colt foal by Camelot.
