Celestial Legend is the first foal and only runner of the unraced Sarraqa (Snitzel). Her second foal is National Code (Written Tycoon). Sarraqa is a three-parts sister to Rafeef and Mustaaqeem and a half-sister to the dam of Full Velocity (Philanthropist).

Second dam National Colour (National Assembly) won eight races, three of them Group 1 races, in South Africa, among them the Gr.1 Computaform Sprint at Turffontein, and she was Joint Horse of the Year there in 2005-6. She also performed well in England and Dubai. Five of her six runners have won, among them the Australian-bred Group 1 sprinters Rafeef and Mustaaqeem, both by Redoute's Choice and based in South Africa. She is also the grandam of Full Velocity (Philanthropist), winner of the Gr.3 Poinsettia Stakes.

Third dam Rainbow Cake (Mr Eats) was a Listed winner, taking the Listed Champagne Stakes at Milnerton.

Sarraqa's yearling is a colt by Maurice, and she visited Dundeel once more last spring.
