American History is out of Bloody Point (War Front), a three-time winner from six starts, and is a half-brother to Ada Clare (Quality Road), placed in a stakes race at Woodbine on her debut and since an allowance winner at Kentucky Downs. Bloody Point is a half-sister to Vekoma (Candy Ride), a multiple Grade 1 winner who also took the Blue Grass Stakes, then a Grade 2, and is now a leading young sire.

Second dam Mona de Momma (Speightstown) was a Grade 1 winner. She left only three foals before her early death, Bloody Point being the first and Vekoma the last.

Third dam Society Gal (Linkage) is a half-sister to Mr. Greeley and to the second dam of Street Sense.

Bloody Point produced a colt by Good Magic this year and has since been covered by Flightline.
