DamWild Blossom

Alenquer is out of Wild Blossom (Areion), a winner at three in Germany, and is her second foal and so far the only winner among her four foals of racing age. Wild Blossom is a half-sister to Wilder Wein (Soldier Hollow), who won the Listed Junioren-Preis as a two-year-old, and to two other winners on the Flat or over hurdles.

Second damWind In Her Hair

The second dam is Wind In Her Hair (Turtle Island), who ran only once. She is a half-sister to seven winners, headed by Waitowin (King Of Clubs), a Listed winner who was Group 2-placed, the Group 3-placed Waitango (Entitled) and the Listed-placed fillies Way For Life (Platini), dam of the Listed winners Viapervita and Mr Medici, and Win Hands Down (Ela-Mana-Mou), dam of the Gr.3 winner Wins Fiction (Platini) and the Listed winner Wild Romance (Alkalde).

Third damWaitotara

The third dam is the influential Waitotara (Habitat), a winner who produced four stakes horses and is also the second dam of the Group 3 winner White Lightning. She is the ancestress of Mr Medici (Medicean), champion stayer in Hong Kong, White Rose (Platini), winner of the Gr.3 Prix Miesque and second in the Gr.1 Preis der Diana, and Wild Side (Sternkonig), winner of the Gr.2 EuropaChampionat, whose daughter Wild Coco (Shirocco) won three Group races. The Group winners Win For Us and Wild Passion also descend from this family.

Next generation

Wild Blossom also has an unraced three-year-old filly by Zarak, a two-year-old colt by Galiway and a yearling colt by The Grey Gatsby.
