Little Big Bear is out of Adventure Seeker (Bering), who won the Listed Prix de Liancourt, was second in the Gr.3 Prix Cleopatre and finished fourth in the Grade 1 E. P. Taylor Stakes. He is a half-brother to four winners. Her first foal is Andrea Mantegna (Giant's Causeway), Group-placed in Australia as runner-up in the Gr.3 Hobart Cup. Adventure Seeker is a half-sister to Along Again (Elusive City), a winner at two and third in the Gr.3 Princess Margaret Stakes.

Second dam American Adventure (Miswaki) was placed four times. She is a full sister to Arnaqueur, winner of the Listed Prix Lord Seymour, and a half-sister to Along All (Mill Reef), winner of the Gr.2 Prix Greffulhe and second in the Gr.1 Grand Criterium. Two more half-sisters became dams of black-type horses: the maiden All Dancing (Dancing Brave) produced Asolo, third in the Gr.1 Prix Royal-Oak, and the unraced Arutua (Riverman) is the dam of Juliette, winner of the Give Thanks Stakes, then a Listed race.

Third dam All Along (Targowice) was a champion in France and Horse of the Year in the US in 1983. She won nine races, five of them at Group 1 level, including the Gr.1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, the Gr.1 Prix Vermeille, the Grade 1 Turf Classic, the Grade 1 Rothmans International and the Grade 1 Washington D. C. International.

Relatives also include Art Francais (Lyphard's Wish), placed in the Gr.1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains.

Adventure Seeker has a yearling colt and a colt foal, both full brothers to Little Big Bear.
