City Of Troy is out of Together Forever (Galileo), winner of the Gr.1 Fillies' Mile and also a stakes winner in Ireland. Her first five foals were all winners and all black-type performers: three by War Front, led by the Gr.3 Tyros Stakes winner and sire Military Style, plus the Group 2-placed Absolute Ruler and the Listed-placed winner King Of Athens, and Bertinelli (Justify), a full sibling to City Of Troy who was third in the Gr.3 Queen Mother Memorial Cup in Hong Kong, where he races as Unbelievable.

Second dam Green Room (Theatrical) never raced. Her seven other winners include the Gr.1 Oaks winner of 2018, Forever Together, a full sister to Together Forever, and Lord Shanakill (Speightstown), winner of the Gr.1 Prix Jean Prat, the Gr.2 Lennox Stakes and the Gr.2 Mill Reef Stakes and now a sire. Green Room is a half-sister to Spanish Fern (El Gran Senor), winner of the Yellow Ribbon Invitational, then a Grade 1.

Third dam Chain Fern (Blushing Groom) never raced and is a full sister to Al Bahathri, winner of the Gr.1 Irish 1,000 Guineas in 1985 and an influential broodmare.

Haafhd (Alhaarth), winner of the Gr.1 2,000 Guineas and the Gr.1 Champion Stakes, also comes from this family, which is also the near family of two Group 1-winning sires: Heatseeker (Giant's Causeway), winner of the Grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap, and Hearts Of Fire (Firebreak).

Together Forever has an unraced two-year-old filly by Uncle Mo named Takemetothemoon, a yearling filly by Dubawi and a filly foal by Into Mischief.
