Twenty-five starts. Twenty-five victories.

Every time Black Caviar walked into a starting gate, the unbeaten record was on the line. Twenty-five times, she brought it home intact.
Peter Moody’s Australian mare made her debut at Flemington in 2009. With her powerful stride and the familiar salmon-and-black colours, she became a star far beyond the racing crowd. Luke Nolen was the jockey most closely associated with her extraordinary run.
In 2012, the story travelled to Royal Ascot. A tense finish in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes preserved her perfect record on the other side of the world. Back in Australia, three more victories followed. Her final appearance, in the 2013 T.J. Smith Stakes at Randwick, ended exactly as all the others had: with Black Caviar in front.
