Musical Times is out of Dubai Fountain (Teofilo), who won the Listed Cheshire Oaks, was second in the Gr.2 May Hill Stakes and the Gr.3 Sweet Solera Stakes and finished fourth in the Gr.1 Fillies' Mile in 2020. Musical Times is the second of her three foals and the only winner from her two runners. Dubai Fountain is a half-sister to Real World (Dark Angel), a dual Group 2 winner who was second in both the Gr.1 Queen Anne Stakes and the Gr.1 Lockinge Stakes.

Second dam Nafura (Dubawi) won twice on the all-weather. Her four winners include Real World and Leoncavallo (Cape Cross), a Listed winner over hurdles. Another of her daughters is the dam of Lady Of Spain (Phoenix Of Spain), winner of the Gr.3 Atalanta Stakes, and of First Legion (Mehmas), a dual winner who was second in the Listed National Stakes.

Third dam Mysterial (Alleged) ran twice in the US at three without success. Besides Nafura she produced six winners, among them the stallions Librettist (Danzig), winner of the Gr.1 Prix Jacques Le Marois and the Gr.1 Prix du Moulin, and Dubai Destination (Kingmambo), winner of the Gr.1 Queen Anne Stakes, as well as Secret Number (Raven's Pass), a Group 2 winner in Turkey. Mysterial is also the grandam of Royal Marine (Raven's Pass), winner of the Gr.1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère.

Dubai Fountain has a yearling filly, a full sister to Musical Times.
