She is a half-sister to Alexander Goldrun (Gold Away), who won five Group 1 races and produced the dual Listed winner Goldrush, and to the sire Medecis (Machiavellian), a Gr.3 winner in France and runner-up in the Gr.1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains. Dashing is also a three-parts sister to the dam of Mantastic (Fastnet Rock), a Listed winner in Australia.
