As of race day 13.09.26DamFabulous
Scandinavia is out of the unraced Fabulous (Galileo), whose only other winners are Above The Curve (American Pharoah), a Group 1 winner in France, where she took the Prix Saint-Alary, then a Group 1, and also a Group winner and Group 1-placed in Ireland and Group 1-placed in England, and Thinking Of You (American Pharoah), a two-year-old winner and multiple Group-placed in Ireland, including twice at Group 3 level. Thinking Of You is the dam of Kravitz, a black-type-placed winner in the US. Fabulous is a full-sister to Hanky Panky, a winner at three and third in the Gr.3 Ballyogan Stakes, and to Butterflies, a two-year-old winner who was second in the Gr.3 Munster Oaks.
Second damMariah's Storm
Second dam Mariah's Storm (Rahy) won two Grade 2 races in the US. She produced six other winners, all by Storm Cat: the champion Giant's Causeway, a six-time Group 1 winner and champion sire; You'resothrilling, winner of the Gr.2 Cherry Hinton Stakes; Freud, a Group 3-placed winner; Tumblebrutus, a Group 2-placed winner and sire; Tiger Dance, a two-year-old winner, Group 3-placed and a sire; and Roar Of The Tiger, a four-time winner, Listed-placed and a sire. You'resothrilling became an influential broodmare: she is the dam of Joan Of Arc, winner of the Gr.1 Prix de Diane, the multiple Group 1 winner and sire Gleneagles, whose wins include the Gr.1 2,000 Guineas, the dual Group 1 winner Happily, whose wins include the Gr.1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere, Marvellous, winner of the Gr.1 Irish 1,000 Guineas, the dual Group 2 winner and sire Taj Mahal, the Group 3 winner Coolmore, the Listed winner Toy, Vatican City, second in the Gr.1 Irish 2,000 Guineas, and the Group 3-placed Drop Dead Gorgeous. Mariah's Storm also bred the unraced Pearling (Storm Cat), dam of the three-time Group 1 winner and sire Decorated Knight, and the unraced Love Me Only (Sadler's Wells), dam of the sire Storm The Stars, winner of the Gr.2 Great Voltigeur Stakes and three times Group 1-placed.
Third damImmense
Third dam Immense (Roberto) won the Grade 3 Little Silver Handicap. Her four other winners include the sire Panoramic (Rainbow Quest), winner of the Gr.2 Prix Hocquart and Group 1-placed, and Air Zion (Groom Dancer), a Listed winner in Japan.
