Big Evs is the fourth winner out of Hana Lina (Oasis Dream) and the first black-type winner she has bred. Hana Lina is a half-sister to the Listed-placed King's Advice (Frankel) and to the unraced Queen's Rose (Street Cry), dam of Signora Queen, a Listed winner in Germany.

Second dam Queen's Logic (Grand Lodge) won the Gr.1 Cheveley Park Stakes, was champion 2-year-old filly in Europe and produced Lady Of The Desert (Rahy), winner of the Diadem Stakes, then a Group 2, the Gr.2 Lowther Stakes and the Gr.3 Princess Margaret Stakes, and placed in the Gr.1 Sprint Cup, the Gr.1 Prix de l'Abbaye and the Gr.1 Cheveley Park Stakes. Queen's Logic is a half-sister to Dylan Thomas (Danehill), Horse of the Year in Europe, a six-time Group 1 winner and a sire, to the Gr.1 1000 Guineas winner Homecoming Queen (Holy Roman Emperor), dam of Shale (Galileo), winner of the Gr.1 Moyglare Stud Stakes, and of the Group 2-placed Berkeley Square, to Remember When (Danehill Dancer), second in the Gr.1 Oaks, and to the Group 2-placed Love To Dance (Sadler's Wells).
