Christmas Day is out of Beauly (Sea The Stars), a stakes winner in the US, where she won at Listed level and was fourth in the Flower Bowl Stakes, then a Grade 1, and stakes-placed in England. He is the best of her four winners. Her first foal, Missed the Cut (Quality Road), won the Listed Churchill Stakes and a race at Royal Ascot in England and later took three Grade 3 races in the US.

Second dam Pickle (Piccolo) won two Grade 3 races in the US and has five winners from eight runners, among them the sire Gusto (Oasis Dream), who won four Listed races in Britain and France. Pickle is a half-sister to the Group 3-placed Auld Burns (Pastoral Pursuits).

Third dam Crackle (Anshan) was a triple winner at distances up to 1m2f and bred six winners. She is a half-sister to the Listed winner Ronaldsay (Kirkwall), dam of the sire Gale Force Ten (Oasis Dream), winner of the Gr.3 Jersey Stakes and second in the Gr.1 Irish 2,000 Guineas, and of the Listed winner Rousay (Muhaarar).

Ronaldsay is also the grandam of Shareholder (Not This Time), winner of the Gr.2 Norfolk Stakes in 2024.

Beauly has a yearling colt by Wootton Bassett and was covered by Camelot again last year.
