Diamond Necklace is one of nine winners out of Prudenzia (Dansili), winner of the Listed Prix de la Seine and the dam of six stakes performers. Among them are the globe-trotting champion Magic Wand (Galileo), a Group 1 winner in Australia whose successes include the Gr.1 MacKinnon Stakes and dam of the Group 3-placed two-year-old winner Ecstatic, and the champion Chicquita (Montjeu), winner of the Gr.1 Irish Oaks and second in the Gr.1 Prix de Diane. Philomene (Dubawi), winner of the Gr.3 Prix Penelope, was also runner-up in the Gr.1 Prix de Diane, while Enemy (Muhaarar) was group-placed in England and multiple group-placed in Saudi Arabia. Chicquita has in turn produced three stakes performers, including Emily Dickinson (Dubawi), winner of the Gr.2 Curragh Cup and second in the Gr.1 Goodwood Cup, and Nicest (American Pharoah), second in the American Oaks and third in the Gr.1 Irish Oaks.

Second dam Platonic (Zafonic) won once in France at four and produced six other winners. They include the Group 3 winner Pacifique (Montjeu), dam of the French Group 3 winner Paix and herself second dam of the group performer Skydance (Night Of Thunder) and of the French Listed winners Parachutiste (Dubawi), third in the Gr.2 Prix Niel, and Yellow Jersey, as well as English King (Camelot), winner of the Listed Lingfield Derby Trial. Platonic is also the grandam of Vespertilio (Night Of Thunder), winner of the Gr.2 Debutante Stakes, second in the Gr.1 Moyglare Stud Stakes and third in the Gr.1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches, of Perama (Siyouni), winner of the Gr.3 Prix Fille de l'Air, and of Scenic (Lope De Vega), winner of the Gr.3 Bronte Cup Fillies' Stakes.

Third dam Puce (Darshaan) won a Listed race, was placed at Group 3 level and bred eight winners. They include the champion Pongee (Barathea), winner of the Gr.2 Lancashire Oaks and second in the Gr.1 Yorkshire Oaks, who produced the Listed winners Drill and Pinzolo, both placed at Group 2 level, and Lion Sands (Montjeu), a Listed winner in Britain. Puce is a half-sister to Golden Quest (Rainbow Quest), placed in the Goodwood Cup, then a Group 2.

Fourth dam Souk (Ahonoora) was a dual winner and Listed-placed. This is also the family of Alexandrova (Sadler's Wells), who won the Gr.1 Oaks, the Gr.1 Irish Oaks and the Gr.1 Yorkshire Oaks, of Rekindling (High Chaparral), winner of the Gr.1 Melbourne Cup and a sire, of Magical Romance (Barathea), winner of the Gr.1 Cheveley Park Stakes, and of Channel (Nathaniel), winner of the Gr.1 Prix de Diane.

Prudenzia has since produced an unraced two-year-old filly by Night Of Thunder named Marylebone and a yearling colt by Siyouni.
