A new architectural era

ParisLongchamp’s modern grandstand was designed by Dominique Perrault, also known for the French national library. The redevelopment changed the spectator experience with a more open, spacious setting while retaining racing at the historic site. Terraces and public areas connect the building with views across the course.

Racing in the Bois

The racecourse sits within the Bois de Boulogne, giving it an unusually green setting for a major sporting venue in Paris. Its grounds include several different racing circuits rather than one simple oval, allowing varied routes and distances. The wooded surroundings help separate the racing landscape from the city beyond.
